What is Frankie’s Angels?
Frankie’s Angels is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that operates under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Frankie’s Angels will build and develop resources to fund itself as they advocate for better behavioral health practices among the population suffering from substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
Who is Frankie’s Angels for?
Frankie’s Angels is a student internship program for college students who are looking to be creative and innovative in their education. Frankie’s Angles welcomes all college students in any major to turn their education into experience in the ‘real world.’
What do Frankie’s Angels Do?
Frankie’s Angels aims to advocate and educate communities affected by mental illness and substance abuse. Frankie’s Angels objective is to raise funds for research in areas involving the identification, causes, prevention, detection and treatment of co-occurring disorders related to addiction while strengthening our youth population in the leadership field. Frankie’s Angels work in a structured professional environment with mentors.
Frankie’s Angels Donations?
The donations that are received fund the program into development of effective treatment strategies, bring scholarships to students, research opportunities, and educate our interns as it fosters strong leaders in the behavioral health communities. Through educational programs, advocacy campaigns, scholarships, grant writing, fundraising, and public speaking, Frankie’s Angels will bring awareness to communities, education to our youth population, knowledge to our addiction community and motivated leaders to help address substance abuse and mental health issues that have impacted society at epidemic proportions.
Frankie’s Angels Goals:
The goals of Frankie’s Angels are to empower by purpose through the role of our interns and strengthen the meaning, treatment, prevention, education and recovery needs of the substance abuse population by:
1. Creating, empowering and improving the leadership skills of the individuals coming in the field of behavioral health.
2. Developing a networking system for the up and coming generation of leaders in the substance abuse and mental health field, while:
